Preparatory & Training Course
Thank you for your interest in the Professional Medical Coding Curriculum (PMCC). Codes Unlimited Healthcare Academy (CUHA) is an authorized post-secondary school under the Tennessee Higher Education Commission.
CUHA is distinctive as the only 17-week (4-months) accelerated preparatory and training course in the Memphis area that offers extensive and thorough training for students to pass the national certification medical coding examination successfully. This extensive training also prepares students for the job market.
CUHA offers distance learning for both hybrid and blended learning. Review the program overview for more details. If the class is traditional, the school is space is the University of TN. A tour of the building will be provided to onsite student on the first day of class. Directions to the UT GEB will be provided once enrollment is completed.
All students should review the catalog for more details: for tuition, official transcripts, pre-requisite class requirements, refunds, textbooks, and workbooks. CUHA's instructors are the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) approved to teach the Professional Medical Coding Curriculum (PMCC). The AAPC sponsors the PMCC program, and the American Nurses Credential accredits this program on Commission & Utah Nurses Association.

Both full-time and part-time students are accepted. Maximum full-time students allowed per the classroom are 15 plus.
However, part-time students have more than two years of coding experience or have had previous coding classes and are only interested in individual classes (CEU's). If you are a member of AAPC, please ask about the class fees, etc.

Credits earned at another educational institution may not be accepted by [Codes Unlimited Healthcare Academy]. You should also contact any educational institutions that you may want to transfer credits earned at [Codes Unlimited Healthcare Academy] to determine if such institutions will accept credits earned at [Codes Unlimited Healthcare Academy] before executing an enrollment contract or agreement. The ability to transfer credits from [Codes Unlimited Healthcare Academy] to another educational institution may be very limited. Your credits may not transfer, and you may have to repeat courses previously taken at [Codes Unlimited Healthcare Academy] if you enroll in another educational institution. You should never assume that credits will transfer to or from any educational institution.
It is highly recommended, and you are advised to make certain that you know the transfer of credit policy of [Codes Unlimited Healthcare Academy] and of any other educational institutions you may in the future want to transfer the credits earned at [Codes Unlimited Healthcare Academy] before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement.
